Having trouble getting through the Sun Haven Mines? Learn how you can unlock each floor to access everything available.

If you head east of your home in Sun Haven, you'll come across the Sun Haven Mines. These mines have 50 floors for you to explore, with four consistent treasure chests every ten floors. However, getting through all of them poses problems: while you can unlock the floors with Rusty Keys, you need specific items to unlock them permanently.

Knowing everything you need can become complicated, especially if you don't know what to expect. You should utilize a guide if you find getting everything you need to reach the various floors challenging. Doing so will help you unlock all the chests and access whichever floor you need to get better equipment.

For the first ten floors, you must use 11 Copper Keys to reach the 11th floor. This may seem strange, but the floors with the chests don't count as floors, but they require a key to get past them.

On top of that, you can't use Rusty Keys to reach the 11th floor, so you need a Copper Key to unlock it. You must open all the previous floors before you can continue.

Anvil from a Crafting Table

Two Copper Bars

You'll come across quests that give you Copper Bars. You can also buy them from Solon at the Blacksmith for 200 Gold.

Furnace from a Crafting Table

Ten Wooden Planks

The planks can be created from the Crafting Table if you have Logs. You can get Logs by chopping down trees.

Eight Copper Ore

You'll find Copper Ore on the first ten floors of the Mines. Look for the stones with copper color on them, and you'll get Copper Ore whenever you break one.

Copper Bars from the Furnace

Three Copper Ore

Collect more Copper Ore from the first ten floors of the mines. You can also find more logs from the trees around your home.

One Log

Copper Keys from the Anvil

Two Copper Bars

Either make them at the Anvil or buy them from Solon.

If you want to purchase Copper Keys, you must collect gold. You can purchase them for 600 gold at the Sun Haven Market, so if you don't know how to reach it, follow a few steps.

Only Rex sells the keys, so keep an eye out for him if you plan to purchase Copper Keys.

As a quick rundown, if you want to create everything necessary for the 11 required keys, you must have the following base materials to create everything:

You must use Iron Keys instead of Copper for the next set of floors. They have their requirements for you to craft them, but since you already have an Anvil and Furnace, you don't have to make them again.

Three Iron Ore

You can get Iron Ore from Iron deposits on floors 11 to 20, which have an iron tint to them.

One Coal

As for Coal, you can get it from standard Coal deposits throughout the Mines. You can buy Coal from Solon for 500 gold if you don't want to make them.

Iron Key from an Anvil

Use the Iron Bars you made in the previous step.

To craft the Iron Keys, you must have the following materials ready.

However, once you reach the second treasure chest before the 21st floor, you'll find an Ore Muncher in front of you. You must feed it some materials if you want it to move out of the way.

You'll naturally collect these as you mine rocks.

30 Copper Ore

Throughout the first ten floors.

10 Silver Ore

Throughout the second level of floors.

2 Rubies

Look out for red rocks on the first 20 floors and break them to find Rubies.

Once you reach the next set of floors, you must get 11 Adamant Keys to reach the next treasure chest. Luckily, they're relatively easy to get, as you'll follow a similar setup to the Iron Keys, except you'll swap Iron Ore for Adamant Ore.

Adamant Bar from a Furnace

Three Adamant Ore

You can get Iron Ore from Adamant deposits on floors 21 to 30, which have a blue tint to them.

One Coal

You can get Coal from standard Coal deposits throughout the Mines.

Adamant Key from an Anvil

Use the Adamant Bars you made from the previous step.

If you don't know where to find Adamant Ore, search for it on floors 18 through 30, which appears as a stone with blueish stones on it. You need three Adamant Ore and one Coal for each Adamant Bar, and three Adamant Bars to make a key. You must collect 99 Adamant Ore and 33 Coal to get them all.

As you reach these floors, you must create Mithril Keys to get through the floors.

Mithril Bar from a Furnace

Three Mithril Ore

You'll come across Mithril Ore around the 25th to the 40th floors, so go through them to collect some.

You'll find the Mithril Ore in their deposits, which are a more circular shape than the others with a mixture of blue and black.

Two Coals

You'll find Coal from standard deposits.

Four Mithril Bars

Use the Mithril Bars you made in the previous step.

You must collect the following materials to make everything to get the ten required Mithril Keys for this section.

Once you reach the chest on this floor, you'll encounter another Ore Muncher that requires materials to pass it.

Keep breaking rocks, and you'll eventually get enough.

15 Adamant Ore

Follow the instructions from the previous floor to find Adamant Ore.

10 Mithril Ore

Read through the information above for help.

2 Diamonds

You'll find Diamond deposits on the 20th floor and higher. Look for the shining rocks, break open two of them, and you'll collect the Diamonds.

This is another simple floor where you must create 11 Sunite Keys. To make Sunite, you must unlock the Outfitter ability from the Mining skill tree. From there, you must follow a few simple steps to reach the final floor.

You can get Sunite Ore from the orange tint deposits from floors 37 downward.

As for the Fire Crystals, you'll come across deposits with red on them.

If you want to create all 11 keys, you must have the following items.

As you complete every ten floors, you can open chests to gain rewards, so these are the preset rewards you can enjoy from each option.

There's another reward you can reach after the 50th floor, but you must defeat Dizzy to get it, so you don't get it from a standard chest like the others.
